The Call of the Wild
Jack London
Buck is king of his sunny domain in Santa Clara, California. He is well-loved by his master, by his children, and by his children's children. His life is one long day in paradise, until he is ripped from his home and smuggled to Alaska, then sold into the sled dog trade. If he is to survive, Buck must adapt to his changing circumstances. And, in order to adapt, he must get in touch with his long-dormant natural instincts. Will Buck respond to this call from his wild ancestors? Or will he be consumed by the desolate Northland wild?
